“Think of your mind as a radio, but it’s dialed into a single station that is your life. It has wide ranging content, music, news, sports, weather, traffic, and talk, but it’s formatted, its programmed to your daily routine. What psychedelics allow you to do is spin the dial to tap into other stations happening simultaneous to yours. You begin to realize there’s not only other stations, there’s other frequencies as well. There’s am, fm, long wave, short wave, broadband, simulcast networks, all bouncing and spinning off one another, happening all at once, all the time. These are the networks we are inexorably attached to and a part of. Inevitably, the dial returns back to your station, and life resumes. Only you become more acutely aware that all those other wavelengths still exist, it’s only whether we choose to acknowledge them or not.”

Christmas Day 2021, just got the news. Rest In Peace brother. That night was already something to remember, now it’s taken on such a more significant meaning for me, I hope you find your solace and know that I’ll keep the memory alive.
