Meditations

Right now I’m traveling on a solo road trip around the North Eastern part of the United States. I landed in Erie PA, rented a car and will be going on a round about through Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Philadelphia, NYC, and more through the holidays into the new year. A lots gone through my mind, at the same time there’s a lot to take in. It’s obviously a tumultuous time in history to be traveling, and I’m also trying to deal with things internally as I put myself through the gauntlet. In some sense this feels like a “walkabout” where sons of tribes are thrown into the wilderness to see if they survive, to see what’s out there, to see what they’re made of, and if they return, they become the better for it. Maybe that’s what this is, but for now I can only take it as it comes.
